I called about 8 different attorneys in the state of PA. None of them would be serious and none of them knew anything about truck driving.

They ALL wanted to get paid up front, they wanted me to pay $700 to $1,200 for their services. And that right there is a gamble because if they lose,I still have to pay the $6,505...

Read the other posts I made, you'll get a better understanding.

The video there is when I drove by tractor, even so the sign for I-79 North wasn't there and they closed off the exit to get back on the highway.

It was a trap and they should warn you about EVER making the left turn.

I am editing the video into two parts and posting it on YouTube.

Also,I am driving by tractor so that means I can turn around.

I had a similar experience in NH but I didn't get caught. There was two exits a mile apart with the same highway number. Mine was the second one, but I didn't know it at the time. I jumped off to use the ramp shoulder to get my bearings straight. There was no re-entry nor no signs indicating that. I ended up going through a rural neighborhood with million dollar homes. I was turning some snoots heads, lol. Finally one lady gave me directions back out but I could of got in big trouble there.

You can have an attorney represent you and most likely he'll get the fine cut in half or something similar. You are guilty until proven guilty. Use vaseline next time. It doesn't hurt as bad, lol. Chock it up as a learning experience.
Check with your company and get advice from your safety guy. He might help you. Also some companies will pay your fine and do payroll deduction with a signed contract.

Don't fool around with trying to find a lawyer on your own. Call Interstate Truckers Ticket Defense 1-800-333-3748 Had a friend who got caught doing 68 in a 35 zone he got on the phone and call these people, he got out of it.

I guess you could plead for mercy from the court.

Most all of them will allow you to make payments !!!!

It isn't a trap, you just failed to see the signs and follow them appropriately. It happens. When you got to the intersection with the weight limit signs, why didn't you turn around there? Or, seeing that the truck route went left, why did you go right?

Just pay the fine and have it be done with! Life is too short and besides your government needs the revenue!

Better advice than MOST people here. I guess most of these other guys here aren't any real truck drivers.
