Trucking Jobs in 30 seconds

You will have hell of a trouble finding a job at 22 years old. Most companies want at least 23, while the rest 25(due to insurance reasons). Im guessing your chances of finding a driving job are slim to none for the next 3 years.
-
It ain't just the age, it's the recent misdemeanor for theft. We haul millions of dollars worth of stuff and they need somebody they can trust. "I've changed" or "that was 2 years ago" doesn't cut it.
You can try, but it ain't likely.
I saw a "Help Wanted" sign outside McDonald's the other day, just sayin' -

Enlist into the Armed forces "probably Army" and go for a Truck Driver MOS. When ya' get through Boot and Advanced individual training. Ya might get the experience you need as a driver, when you get through with your enlistment with a sound military record and seat time for Uncle Sam, you might get on the road. Just a thought..
-
Yep, the military is better now than it's ever been. It gives you the discipline and training to be very successful. Not to mention the benefits for the family. You are going to work regardless. Why not do it in a place that gives you free housing and medical care?
You don't like it, get out after 3-4 years and have some experience. You like it and you can retire when you are 50 if you like. Either way, it'll make a man out of you.
Driving OTR takes a certain person and can be hard on a family. Handling $100,000 worth of freight daily and a theft record doesn't look good. Would you hire you?
