:biggrin_2552: Non related question on Tanker side (if you know anything on that side). The Tanker side is mostly non-Hazmat & if that is true, what do they haul mostly???? Have a Good Day:biggrin_25523:

It doesn't happen very often, but by the time you know about it they've already closed the dock door. You can go make a stink about it, or deal. If you have the time for a washout, they will usually deal with that for you. Sometimes you luck out and a pallet biz will be co-located at a truckstop. Otherwise... a dumpster, or..?

We only pull food-grade loads I understand. I know we do chocolate for sure, vegetable oil...

Back on topic... Longview TX. At a closed truckstop... the Quickway is overflowing, but within sweltering walking distance.

Ah, the old stomping grounds :) (at least for my Dad... he worked in Carson for a while)

    Enjoy your stay :)

I am in Boonville, MO should be close to 90 tomorrow looking for a good truck stop just north of Atlanta I have been told by many to avoid the truckstops in the Atlanta area.

Old stompin' grounds eh? My branch of the family comes from a little town just up the road from there... New Franklin MO. Boonville was the "big town" when talkin' to the old folks!

We are sitting at the TA in Knox. In the morning headed to murfreesboro TN, then who knows.

Oh!! And I am on the truck with him for the week!! Got the trainee finished on out on his own, so I get to spend some time in the truck!! I figured out I miss it. I may think about getting my CDL back in a year or two.

I would check in the Alpharetta area just north of Atlanta for a truck stop. Alpharetta is nice and there are a lot of good restaurants up there.
