Had the same problem this morning on I83. Noticed that the unit wanted me to get off exit four in PA and run some back roads(I was heading north). Dropped the height down to 13'5" and it recalculated and had me continue on 83 to my exit. That should fix it.

Jst updated mine now it says system file missing!!!

WTF no customer service on Saturday. I'm on the road so now what!!!!??? All that money tied up for a device that isn't working and had outdTed maps so it wasn't worth a troll fart while it worked. PlCes that sell these units should be able to fix them!! Arrrrrrrrrrrrrgh!

My E-Mail is shown. I did not get anything from you yet.

When you E-Mail, serial number off the back please, bottom right.

Customer service is not normally run by most companies on the weekend. I know drivers run 24/7/365, but again, if your laptop crashed would you expect them to be open 24/7/365?

    I am awaiting your E-Mail.

    Thanks,
    Mark

I queried again to Customer support. I am in Brooks, OR for the next few days.

Question... when you looked at the 4 folders I mentioned in the E-mail, did you open them up and see if the file names could be read?

    Thanks,
    Mark

I do see other items in the folders if that's what you mean.

Finally got hOme to get my repaired gps. It works great now. Whatever update was done fixed it! It actually starts up, calculates routes and shuts down much faster than with the old software! I'm happy to report that it's back on my dash !

    Mark Kling Thanks this.

So now RM has changed the map updates to a one time fee for lifetime updates? Any idea if this will be quarterly, or yearly?
