nope that's why they are truck stops so truckers have a place to rest i have heard of a story of a place that tried to charge people once but to answer your question no you dont.
-
Generally, no. There are some truck stops that do charge for parking (a small percentage), however most of those will offset the cost of parking if fuel or other goods are purchased there.
-
Truckstops in large areas sometimes charge. Like the truckstops in Ontario, CA. Then you have Dallas where the TA on the south side of I-20 charges for parking while the Flying J on the northside doesn't.
-
The Big Easy TS in New Orleans does. But they only have about 30 spaces...
Mikeeee -
Petro Atlanta does, unless you spend like 25 bucks in services or the store.
-
When I started driving 20 some years ago quite of few truckstops charged for parking. If you bought more than so many gallons of fuel or spent a certain amount or more in the restaurant or store they waived the charge.
-
There are some TA's and Petro's Around Big Citys that Charge $10, or you can buy $25 worth of stuff or fuel...
The ONLY Truckstop in RI also Charges $10 If i remember right, BUT they also have THE BEST FOOD EVER!!!!!!!!! so its SOOOO worth it, and there are no LINES its just a massive half asphalt half dirt lot park where ever you want!

The T/A on 78 in Jersey and the one on 84 at exit 28 in Ct both charge. The one in CT is 15 or 20 bucks.
-
The T/A on I95 between Baltamore and DC does. Again if you fuel or such you can get it for free.
But usually its in the big cities where land taxes are expensive.
