TANKER YANKERS ( good tanker companies)

they have the blue trucks out of des moines.

 

I have not seen anything mentioned about Dana Transport aka. Suttles, aka. LTC. The company drivers have an option of mileage pay or percentage. I have heard that these guys can make in the 60 - 70,000 a year range. It might be worth looking into. I am an o/o with Suttles and don't know the specifics, just hearsay, but seems to me it would be worth checking on.

 

I just got on with Eagle. Bulkmatic is OTR?

 

Bulkmatic is local dry bulk with the possibility of occasional overnight trips.

 

Kemira or ka steel has anyone heard anything about these two companies ? I've been to their websites but it doesny say anything about the drivers and business . I looking into going back into tanker work and get out of freight because I hurt my back for third time and I'm tired of dealing with these ungreatful as customers .

 

i work for dpi since september 2008.alot of them are 0/0 and alot of us are company drivers.i live around lake charles area.work a 5/2,5/3 schedule which means i stay out for 4 1/2 days and come home on 5th day and following week doing the same thing and have 3 days off the following week.anything else ya wanna know,just hit me up.

I worked for Ruan transportation pulling tanker. I ran 11 western and they were great! I got paid for everything! They paid load and unload, trailor drop and hook, hourly after 2 hours of sitting and if you ran local they paid 15.75 hr and after 40 you got time and 1/2. Like an idiot I listened to a friend (I THOUGHT WAS A FRIEND) and changed to the company he worked for and didn't get even close to the money I was making at Ruan and I was running 11 western there as well. I'm thinking of going to work for Prime INC. and pull a tanker for them. I hear alot of good and bad about them so I'm diggin up the dirt on 'em!

Thumper, why not go back to Ruan? I've also heard some good things about them. I work for Martin Transport and I know they're looking for drivers. Let me know if you want details.
