I use Netspend.com for all my online transactions. They give you a Visa debit card, They charge $5 a month for unlimited usage. Anybody hacks my info, they ain't getting much.
A trucker could use it as they have direct deposit and wire transfers. Use the card for purchases and take advantage of cash back to avoid any ATM fees.

    CadetTrucker Thanks this.

For military veterans USAA might be a good option. it's all online and they reimburse atm fees, up to about $15 a month i think. I have all my accounts with them, including auto insurance

Flying J's debit card buys fuel everywhere EFS is accepted, not just FJ's. I use mine at Pilot, Love's, Ambest- Cenex, QT....

I used to agree with that- until I realized that money borrowed from the ChiComs runs this country. In a year, it will be a good thing to have a bank account with a debit card funded with Renminbe..

That's nice. But it won't work for us based on the way Prime runs their fuel purchases. The corporate discount we get through our fuel network is serious money. Otherwise, you're buying it on your nickel at the pump price minus whatever discount you get through Flippin' J. And that my friend means that you are loosing a lot of your money if you're a Prime driver.

I'm part of that endangered species known as "moderate." And frankly both ends of the spectrum disgust me these days.

I think Ally bank reimburses ATM fees. They do on my money market account, anyhow. I believe they will for checking. Just a thought! ~ciao

Yeah, I was joking. I am definitely conservative but don't like to be labeled or boxed into any ridged framework. I have a mind of my own, even if I choose not to use it all that much.

I'll tell you this (and it probably doesn't in this thread..but what the hey)...As someone who got caught up recently in a movement..and traveled to Washington twice..and has given numerous speeches to thousands of people..I have seen a wide cross section of people from every walk of life, from every corner of this country..set aside divisive social issues to agree on one thing. Our nations financial situation is a house of cards..worries me to no end..and yes..the D vs R mentality is destroying our nation..

that being said, my last year and a half with my previous employer has so rocked me mentally, physically and emotionally I have stepped away from them and have ignored political issues. I get along with anyone, of any stripe when respect is thrown into the mix...right now my mix is getting myself back on track and starting over..

There are a lot of GOOD people in this country and I hope to see them stay active in keeping us a nation with LARGE aspirations, hopes and dreams and a government just small enough to allow us to succeed

yeah, I use bank of America and don't like it. I have an account with a small local bank and we have thought for a long time of switching to someone else

sorry about the long blather..i got caught up in the moment :biggrin_2556:

Look for a bank that refunds you the money for ATM fees. I use to belong to a Credit Union that allowed up to 25 ATM fees to be refunded back to my account.
