Jack Rabbit. If you have not completely burned all your bridges, try and go back to Ruan. The grass is not always greener and if that worked for you try and mend the fence. I have been doing this for 34 years and Prime's reputaion. Over that time is horrible. Multible bankruptcies, always hosing their drivers on their lease purchase schemes.
Any driver with any decent amount of experience and job history can do better.
Prime is going through the tanker industry, slashing rates, causing chaos among shippers, spreading like a computer virus.
Please do your homework before you go down the road to Springfeild Mo.

I thought about going back to Ruan and they told me that I could, but me and the family moved from Ca, to Tennessee and I haven't seen any of there trucks out here or terminals. I really liked it there, but we are not sure if we're even going to stay here in TN. My wifes family is here and they are driving me up the wall! My wife is talking about us movin closer to my sister & her husband in AR. and where there town is its about 2 hrs to the Prime terminal in Springfield MO. So that is what I'm leaning towards...

Oh I'm going to do my homework!!! We don't live on that side of the country anymore and I really didn't burn my bridge. To be honest I got off work DOG TIRED and I got smarted off too by some new dispatcher ( KID ) and I told him (sorry to say) where to go, how to get there, who was sending him there and how I was going to do it! Then the next night I had a run going back to NV. I told them to shove it! I'm not taking it have the new dispacher kid do it. Just got fed up (having family troubles at home as well) and with everything going on I just swiched to a different company.. All the while my so called best friend was telling me that I can make the same money at his company and blah blah blah!!! BIG MISTAKE!!! Well, Ruan offered my job back time after time after, but I stayed working for the other company. I told my wife if we move back to CA, I would go talk to them... Sometimes when you give up something you realize what you had. But Prime, Indian River, Oakley.........I dunno... I just leanin toward Prime because they are so close to the house.... But I will do my homework!!! Thanks!!

    Everything You Do.....BE SAFE!!!!

I like everything about Mack trucks, don,t care if it,s a day cab or sleeper,or run Jersey everyweek. As long as I,m in a Mack truck, I,LL be happy. Thanks again everybody.

Depending on where you live, Quest Liner is a hazmat tanker company. They have some Macks.

Stay away from Prime. You will not make any money there if toylike coming home. Most of the tanks you see sitting in Springfield are either empty or a load that someone brought down to quit and turn in truck. There is almost always a new driver sitting there waiting for that load.

Most of Prime's tanker lanes are something from Chicago down to Stuttgart AR and East... A lot of north east. You'd also better like spending several days a month at OJ's tank wash in S Kerny NJ. You will sit there about 2 days at a time waiting for a load. Been there done that. There is a reason Prime Inc stands for Please Remember I Mortgaged Everything, I Need Cash.

WOW that bad huh?? Do you know anything about there flatbed division? I like both. I know most like Reefer and dry van but I'm a tanker yanker or a skateboarder myself! I was thinking one or the other with them.

    BE SAFE OUT THERE!!
