If you've never driven a truck before, no worries. Prime has a complete training program. Since you've never driven a truck before, as long as you have an acceptable employment history for the last 3 years including some recent employment and can explain any interruptions, you should be good to go. As mentioned, get ahold of a recruiter.

Well, 16 days of vacation and I am back! Although the guy in charge of finding me a trailer coming off of hometime needs to be fired, this is the 3rd time this year I've gone to where they have told me to grab a trailer and there wasn't one there for me.
On the bright side however, thanks to my 2 paid weeks I get this year, I'll be taking less than $500 out of my E-Fund to cover the 16 days off!
In Harrisonburg, VA right now picking up a load going to NY. -
I got mine from Kraft on E. Laburnum Tuesday afternoon... There were about a dozen empties.
Swapped it for a loaded one out if Rocky Mount, NC... Sux cuz local scale closes at 1900 and I had to run down 45 miles to the scale in Kenly and discover what I already suspected... Over weight on trailer tandems.
Delivery had to be re-scheduled as my clock was coming up 2 hours short after the re-work. -
In SPRINGMO.... back on the pad, see if I can help someone.... ill be here through Sunday.....

Thanks ironpony! What about your tax records? Do they check that? Im 21 and Ive worked for about 3 and a half years but Ive never filed taxes since 2009...Will this affect me at all? Will they require tax records? My recruiter told me that they shouldnt need them unless they couldnt reach any of my recent employers to verify my work history...I have worked but dont have tax records to show it...Im really confused and nervous about this because I dont want to get up there and they need my tax records and I dont have them and they send me home (with no way home!!) I live in Tennessee about a six hour drive from Springfield...Any info will greatly help me, thanks all for the replies...

trep1990: I'm also 21, and my application was recently approved. I had to fax my recruiter a paystub and w2 from a previous job that she couldn't get in contact with, but only for proof of employment. Best of luck!
