Since the last Ive posted I've been surviving, and just surviving driving a day cab Pete for my buddy, an O/O.
Well it's been 6 months, and I believe it's time to move on. I need Insurance, workers comp, and to be honest a truck made in the past 10 years.
So Sugarcreek Cartage has come into the picture, I've submitted my application, and feel confident in an offer.
Here's the good
Every weekend off..confirmed with 2 drivers.
Every Holiday off..unpaid
Awesomely maintained equipment
100% company paid family insurance.
The bad
If my house is not in route then they prefer me to bring the truck back to the yard..100mile round trip.
Non paid national holidays
They say I get tarp pay...drivers say "yeah right"
They prefer I go around toll roads...says the driver
Anyone heard of this company
So far they sound like what Im looking for.
