Jerry Wren is my recruiter. Good guy. My previous employer took forever to provide work history, but Jerry stuck with it and kept my up to date on the process. Good luck to ya!

Why do drivers always complain that the company doesn't reimburse them when they send the company receipts? Then the company says they didn't get receipts. Why not make copies of the receipts and make notes on the copies.

I always do 'cause I have been told by a manager that he didn't get them...I put them in his in-box as he requested. He was amazed that I produced copies. He wanted the copies but I told him that I will give him the copies after I made more copies. He paid me.

Will that means you must go to the yard a lot. I keep great records and have all my reciepts. But why as drivers do we have to worry about our paychecks being right? We are out here for weeks before we can get a copy of what we were paid for (i.e. pay sheet) thank goodness I have a family member that can look it up on the computer and I go over via telephone. No I don't have laptop but wil be getting one soon.

Who collects this $177 dollars that you speak of? I never paid that. I was never asked for one dime. Oh, are you refering to what the student is expected to pay if he runs out on his commitment to the company? Simple solution either do not enter the agreement or hold up your end. You talk about every company you have trained with...how many is that? Are you a professional student? Or are you confusing training and orientation? FFE does provide food, fairly decent food, during orientation.

    THE PLAYMAKER Thanks this.

There is atleast one company out there that advertises free training. They say that tuition is forgiven with one years service. Just like FFE, right? Not so quick, listen to the rest of the story....as soon as you are out of training they start to deduct weekly payments for your tuition. At the end of the first year you will have paid half of what you owe, then they forgive the other half. This way they can say tuition forgiven after one year. Now during your second year they return the weekly payments they deducted the first year. So, they can say tuition was free. Does that company provide food? I do not know. I do know that I would much rather have a no BS one year committment, and NO weekly payments. Even if that means having to bring cans of Ravioli to school!
