Went through Driver Solutions to be sponsored by PAM Transport. 3 Days into the school (in Ft Worth) was told PAM had declined to hire me and would not tell me the reason. Applied directly with Steven's Transport and was declined, again with no explanation.
The possible reasons I can think of are:
    - Honestly reporting on the DOT questionnaire that I had (but after having weight loss surgery no longer have) high blood pressure and diabetes
    - Bad credit history
    - Not enough work history. Have had one employer for the past 6 years
    - A forgotten misdemeanor from nearly 30 years ago.
I'm now working with a Sean of Careers Worldwide.
I never thought it would be so difficult to get into a driving school. Anyone have similar experience or advice?

By Law, you are entilted to know why you were turned down. Now what that really means is your will get a response, not an answer.

Most likely what you will get is "BQA" Better quallified applicants. From there ask in what way was I lacking such that you can become a better qualified applicant.

You get the idea. Find out what you have to over come in order to get hired. Again by law they are required to give you something.

Most compinies have hireing guidelines, tickets, preventables, non preventables, etc. Find out what the standard is and find out how or why you fell short.

If you let them give you the easy brush off, they will take it.

Is your driving record good? Do you do drugs? Do you owe child support?

I don't know what "law" requires them to tell you why you were turned down. If they're required to tell you, they'll come up with some vague reason.

there must be something else you've forgotten. Those things wouldn't normally disqualify you at Stevens.
