I don't know what kind of motor you have, but we have the MP8's and they're having injector problems, I lost injector number 6 about 4 months ago. Mack told me they were replacing the stock injectors in these motors due to reliability issues, just a note keep an eye on your belts and pulleys this was another problem we've been facing, all of our trucks so far with the MP8's have had to have complete belt and pulley kits put on them. Good luck with it, I think I might have a reliable truck now after all these issues, I don't know what else can pop up.

33,400 pulling a dry van and 1/2 tanks of fuel. I can scale out right at 45,900

34,400 pulling a reefer and 1/2 tanks of fuel. Then I can only scale out 45,000

No 2 dry vans or reefers are the same. The older the trailer the heavier the empty weight. While at the terminal this week we got in 5 new reefers that are lighter than the rest even with the side under carriage wind deflectors. We should be able to put about 800 more pounds of produce in them. Just one time in 2 years have I been anywhere near 80,000 lbs coming back from California. My last 2 trips back I had strawberries and I was grossing 59,000lbs.

Well I'm home. Got here last night around 10pm. I deliver on Monday morning in Lauderhill which is 25 miles south of me. My wife said she wants to take a trip with me. We agreed this will be the extent of it for her, 50 miles.

I'll give mine to the first exit after we leave, which is about 3/4 of a mile.

There is a reason why us truck drivers like to be alone and not bring our s/o's with us.
