USX drivers...how's your day??

Dropped in Salt Lake City and turned right around and picked up an XGS load heading to Toronto. We went to switch drivers yesterday in Omaha and an sat down and logged in and she only had 3 hours left of her 70....Pretty funny. I guess she thought I was keeping track of her hours. This was day 8 so she was getting 8 hours back at midnight but that was 12 hours away. She drove us to Grand Island Nebraska and we stopped at the Bosselmans to take showers, do laundry and then we watched a movie. When my 10 hour rest was up, I took over and drove us past Rock Springs Wyoming and then she got us to the drop and did the pickup and we are now heading East living off of the hours we get back each night. With all of our breakdowns and managing 70 hour resets, this is the first time we have done this. It is kinda weird that we have not been here before. Stopping at Rock Springs for Taco TIme! Love that place and truck parking across the street. Since they only have a record of one of us having a passport we are scheduled to drop this load in Detroit. We may end up in Canada or we may not. We will see.

 

if you do go make sure you have CASH for the bridge. no ea pass and no plastic, found out the hard way one time, had to park the truck and WALK back to the atm.

well they contacted me today again wanting me to be driver trainer ....hmmm, i have reasons why i would like to give it a shot, but i also have reasons why im not sure i want to fool with it..lol, ...what to do...what to do ..

 

i don't have the patience to do it

 

not sure i do, but im thinking of giving it a try and will explain why later when i have time to sit and do some typing ...lol

Well we have been sitting in Shippensburg since Thursday morning for a service. I hope they get us into the shop tomorrow. We had a good week and this is not looking good.
