That's not funny man. Well....yeah it is but still. A man is dead, a family is in mourning, this is no time for puns however appropiate or funny they may be. :biggrin_25512:

I wonder if his brakes were so far out of adjustment that they didn't hold when set?

Most likely he forgot to set the brakes. The man was 70 and probably couldn't move quick enough. What a way to go. RIP driver!

MAN I hate all these news articles.....they say the same thing when a truck is involved. The truck then "BARRELED" down the road.

Wouldn't be the first older person to not set their brake, I'm sure many have seen this before:

There's a trucker that lives about a couple miles from me. He lives up on a hill and forgot to set his brakes. It rolled down the hill after he went in the house. It went over a 20' embankment and ended up belly up on the road.

Needless to say he was fired. Next time I drove through there he had another truck.

It only takes one time to forget to set em' so I always double check before leaving the cab. Then when I get back to the truck I check to see if some idiot pulled the fifth wheel on me.
