Delivered in Social Circle,Ga and had a choice of 3 loads. Augusta,Ga to Shelbyville,Il for Monday, Calhoun,Ga to Dunlap,Il for Monday or Krannert,Ga to Crawfordsville,In for Saturday. Of course I took the one for Saturday and will deliver there in a few hours then after that I pickup in Wabash,In going to Kansas City,Ks for Monday morning.

Delivered in Kansas City then got a load out of Independence,Mo going to Greensboro,Nc. Nice light 9000 lb load so getting great fuel mileage. Deliver tomorrow then reload in Wilson,Nc going to Lafayette,In.

Been a few weeks but I just ran my numbers again. Since I started here 3/17/11 I have been paid $22783.43 on 43720 miles which averages $.521 per mile after .07 per mile is already deducted for my maintenance fund. I have paid $25761.26 for fuel for an average of .589 per mile.

Delivered in Lafayette and had a choice of 2 loads. Indy to St Joe,Mo or Plainfield,In to Spartanburg,Sc so I took the SC one because it would get me through the house. Already preplanned to pick up at the same place going to Smithton,Pa. Both are nice light loads of less that 10,000 lbs so great fuel mileage.

BigKid: Very informative posts!!!! Thank you for your wonderful posts!!
Question: How often do you get to southern MN? After reading your posts I think that I would like to explore the possibility of going with ACT. I would be comfortable with staying out for four(4) weeks and then home for five(5) days. Is this possible? Also, I have saved $12k cash to be used for startup expenses. Your opinion please. TYVM!!!!

We go up there but it isn't one of our main areas. We actually do a run every day out of Chicago area that goes to New Brighton,Mn. I generally stay out about a month then take a week off so your hometime plan is pretty much the same as mine. As for startup expenses there really isn't any but the extra cash is always nice to have just in case.
