He's right... its been really slow - as bad as February.

Ok... a couple of things. First, you mention "miles." You know the lease side isn't about miles - its about gross revenue and minimizing your costs, right? Second, what's your fuel cost per mile (and your average mpg for say the last 30 days), and third, you've been through the ACE-II class?

yes you are right about the gross rev and not miles fuel is anywere between 7.0 and 7.5 every week but you fig between 2500 and 3500 rev per week it starts to get old. and you say its not about mi your wrong line devided by mi = cpm so for instants i just ran a tropicanna load from fl to oh 64 mi dead head 878 ld line rev was 628.99 which paid me .68 cpm were did the trip go to lol in the fuel tanks. its a every week thing with prime ace 2 class yes have taken that and all they said was fuel fuel fuel lol.Like i said im not saying you are not getting that type of rev but you have not been leaseing your truck not much longer then i have and thats why i asked who your dm was. Prime is a good co no bad things to say really except the worst july ever. One more question on that rev how much of it was solo as a team or trainner yes that type of rev id believe running team or trainning but solo no.After alittle home time next week i will be takeing the trainner upgrade to make this work for my family. Also to take the time to teach someone the rightways to drive, back and do this job right not half ### like ive seen with swift, crst, werner i hate to call those companys out but wow all i have to say

Nor will there be - I'm all solo. The reason I'm on the board that I am is that I made my mark on the company side with D-man. Don't obsess about "cpm" or miles. It is about gross revenue - and minimizing costs. Everyone is on FUEL... because its your one largest controlable expense. You can pinch pennys everywhere else, but the fuel bill is the low hanging fruit.

If you're using macro 27, STOP! It will lead you to higher prices upon occaision. Use the "Fuel Price by State" page on the company website, calculate the base price and buy at the lowest price available in route. That will start saving you some money.

And BTW... everyone gets the lowball coming out of Florida. Its the way it is.

You're right, IP. Take it from someone who lives there.

It's about fixed costs...why would anyone pay a pimp... I mean prime way over market average per month on lease payments?

Still trying to stir something up alleycatt? Why don't you go back to pimping your little scam dvds... since from this statement its obvious you don't know how to run a business.

look i fig id ask someone other then the ones i no. IP and U2 i have been reading your guys post for almost 2 years now lol and watched and listen to what our co is doing and the moves it makes and so on. all i wanted was to see how and why other drivers can get this amount weekend and weekout while the other gets bare min weekend and weekout as a lease opp we are in buisness for us and if that driver does not want to do better and grow his or her income then give it up guess i was just trying to pick your brain lol.As for the 27s i hate that thing only use it when i really need it for instance if im dropping a trl and good on fuel in trk lol. but thanks for your time and someday we will run into one another

$600 or $700 for a load that you pick up one day and deliver the next is not a bad rate at all... think about it. 6 of those gives you $3600 to $4200 in gross revenue for a week. Not spectacular, but if you're watching the fuel bill and not blowing your money in the truckstops that's the basis for a reasonable settlement check.

Make sure you send a macro 47 (PTA) right after you go mty with macro 4 - that gets you on the list for another load right away. Something else I noticed is that you don't have a lot of experience. Its quite possible that they haven't built up a lot of confidence in you yet...
