You might try RNI Trucking out of Vernal, UT hauling production water. They also have stuff in NW Colorado(Rangely, Rifle, and etc). RNI also has operations in ND and other states. There are a lot of companies out there that do the same stuff, so this is just one of many.

I haul water in the WY/CO Oilfields, and only had a few years experience in the Military, no civilian experience except for Sage training. I would say it all depends on the insurance company they use as to who they can hire.

Be advised though, depending on what type of services the company you work for provide, you could be hauling freshwater, production water, and flowback water. Generally you will be getting in and out of your truck multiple times a day (A lot if the water well is close to the oil well location) to hookup and disconnect hoses. If your company provides frac tanks like mine, you could find yourself helping the heating truck guys steam clean them after a frac, which is dirty, hot, work. We also have winch trucks, crane trucks, and heater trucks.

You work some long hours, but the pay is usually pretty good. I would have to say better then your typical OTR driving job. But you will work, and get dirty, for your money. May only drive a few miles a day, or you might drive a few hundred. Might sit at a location for hours doing nothing, or you might be moving non-stop. Not to mention the roads you may have to drive on to get to the location.

I personally like the work even though it can be dirty.
