There's more than one Central Trucking Company. Keep in mind the thread in question here is Central Refrigerated Service / Transport, based out of Utah.
And yes, as far as I know of, all refer based transport. -
Central Refrigerated is basically all Refers - you get some 'dry' loads (ones where you don't have to run the refer). There are a couple (meaning 3-4) flat beds that I have seen at the SLC yard - but I think those are for a very small number and specific runs - not for the general drivers.
-
Hmmm, what do they do with all those flatbeds in the WVC yard? Somebody must use them...
Maybe hauling the suits' ego's around?
-
Could be. They need as list of trl as they can for that.
-
central once had a flatbed division with 6 to 8 low roof volvos. these were used to haul steel to the casino in vegas that jerry moyes was building. jerry is the owner of central. when the casino was completed the flat bed division was basically shelved.
-
They have dry vans for the Coors fleet. But those are dedicated only. How are people forgetting those lol, they have a couple hundred of them.
-
its easy to forget about coors when all i drink is budweiser
-
do yall do alot of runs in southeast ga, jacksonville area?
-
Kinda funny most of the people answering the questions don't drive for Central any longer. We keep coming back though. Good info is just that.
