No, he's delivering the bridge!
-
Yea, I know that one. I turned around there going north. A local LEO came by and asked me what I was doing. I told him I wouldn't fit under that bridge. So he told me to turn around again and go under, because they fixed the road, but never changed the sign.

Nice LEO!!! -
Might have been me, I cover 38 sq miles around there. Was the LEO in a Tahoe?
-
Sorry, I don't remember that much detail. I wouldn't remember the face either ( I ws pretty stressed out then, LOL). It's been quite a while since. I was driving for SWIFT at the time, and I was very grateful for he advice! It saved me a few hours detour!

Looks like it did the flaring is bent and it looks like the top is cracked by the window
When I was running up there the locals told me NY marked the bridges a foot lower to compensate for winter snow and pot hole patching. I takes a lot of the liability from the city budget. if it marked 12'7 you hit it with a 13'6 trailer you buy them a new bridge. If its marked 13'7 and the road has been built up and you hit it with a 13'2 they buy you a new trailer This is the way it was explained to me
