yrc regional companies, in trouble or not?

What did you hear about YRC?

 

Their losing money

 

Holland in Olive Branch, Ms has an add out for part time dock and city workers. they are owned by YRC

 

Haven't they always been?

Seriously though.... it was only a couple years ago that the union decided to give concessions to keep the company from going under. Didn't work I guess.

 

Not going to work until management is removed.

 

Everytime I hear about them its something about losing money, their was a story about it on the etrucker website couple weeks ago.

 

It's not a question of if, but when. How long do you think the parent company will keep loosing a hundred million dollars per year before they have enough and close up shop? It's a shame but numbers don't lie.

 

sadly...concessions rarely work...just prolongs the inevitable unless there is serious management change. Hope for the best for the guys at YRC.

 

Yep, you are right. Told my wife to tell her dad to roll his retirement into something else if he can. He has two years before he can retire from there. It may not happen at all.
