Dear ER:
Thanks for the shout out. You amended your original statement? Wow, that was quick.
Also, I suggest you do not speak for all "rednecks" because I personally have met and know a lot of rednecks that if not for life's tough circumstances, could be running fortune five hundred companies.
So, our anger (rightfully so) can not take precedence over the law of the land...lets not forget what history has taught us.
ER. hope your having a good day.
Truthfully,
Dee

I agree with you 100%. There is not an excuse to break the law, but you can't tell me you wouldn't want to get your hands on John Coey. I think that's how you spell his name. The one who killed Jessica Lungsford.

Dear ER:
Honestly, I do not know what I would do if someone raped, molested or killed one of my kids...
The action is so evil I cannot wrap my head around it...but I do know one thing they deserve to be punished with all the power of not only the law but humanity...the worst thing you can do to another human is isolate them from humanity. Children are sacred and innocent.
Also, the law should give the parents of the victim a choice on what they want to do...death penalty (which I do not believe in) or life in jail, either way I am sure the lost of one's child will never be healed.
See, was that bad ER...
Truthfully,
Dee

My thoughts exactly.
I don't know was it bad for you. If you make a good point I'll agree with you, so I don't know why you threw this in there. -
That man needs to be put in General Population in Prison and he'll get what's coming to him.
-
Let's hold hands with the terrorists too while we're at it. Geeezzzz! Hang the offenders instead of shoot them, gives them at least a few more minutes to think about what they've done!

This was a good reply, let's see how he respond.

Rad, I agree with you about letting the law take its course. It's just sad that sex offenders serve less time than fits the cime only to get out and do it all over again. Society has never been able to prove any case reforming hard core child molesters. The way the law is set up now they just victimize again and it starts a chain reaction. These children never heal
Prison is a better place for them if they couldn't ever get out. They show no mercy to child molesters inside.
-
I just wish that once they are in the inside, they got treated like anyone else. No, we have to pay to protect these scumbags, give them special treatment and put them into special protective custody. They were so tough on the outside when they were victimizing the helpless, let them get what they deserve on the inside.

Hanging was referring to the drivers who haul these children. Don't know if they are doing it for the money, or if they're molesters themselves.
This is a very difficult topic. I had to work briefly with offenders to get hours in when going to school for counseling. The thing is and this is only my opinion, so just throwing it out there. Most don't want to be doing the victimizing as it is. One offender I knew committed suicide over his actions. Now, here's the thing that gets me most. First of all 99% of molesters (before the internet became so horrific with child porn) were victims of molestation themselves. Had our system locked up the offenders and kept them locked up, look how many less victims, and those who would commit future offenses there would be. It just keeps growing and our system doesn't "get" the fact that rehab has not and is not working. There's always ways they get around the ankle monitors and then another vicitm shows up on the news. Or they get released by some crazy judge and we all find out he's a repeat offender. Why would they even take a chance on another child being devastated, then that child grows up and has the same problem and so on. I don't hate offenders because I see most of them as being victimized themselves and it really screws them up. The girls tend to turn to prostitution and ruin their lives that way.
Regardless, its a horrific problem in the US and other countries. It seems our system never learns when it comes to this problem. Did you ever think there would be a day you can look up how many predators were in your neighborhood only to find your town/city is covered with them? Not to mention the ones that haven't been caught yet. I just feel they need to be locked up forever for society's safety and while it certainly won't be their own safety, it's a catch 22 and still keeps the children safe.
Just thinking outload.........
