Drove local and that doesn't count for much, looking to get experience as a newbie ,but don't know which company is selling the least amount of crap. I know I have to pay my dues, just like everybody else and I have no problem with that......it's the lying with a smile that annoys me. Not looking for heaven on earth....just a job.

Just A update about Trans Am Trucking. I posted on here a while back, Well so far so good, Still getting Approx. 3000 miles a week unless I go home. One thing I will now due as a lease oparator is run 55mph before I go home. Last week I went home for 3 days, Started in NJ Friday to Indy and then Tulsa by Tues Morning, I got about 1500 Miles for the week and I thought to my self why not save my fuel due to my low amount of miles for the week. Well I ran 55 for the duration of the 1500 and got a avarage of 8.7 MPG, Well simple cause I did this, The next Friday my settlement was $378.01. With the great MPG's and fuel discount paid off. Lease Payment, Fuel and all other fee's paid off and I still got a check.

What if you did that every week? If you run smart enough, you likely will get the same miles. Maybe a little less, but the added savings from fuel will more than make up the difference. Try it, I'll bet you will clear more money overall.

There as good a starter company as any, I guess. Really wouldn't recommend tho and this is the reason why. They drive automatics. TA was my starter and after almost 3 years, I moved on. Picking up on a manual again, for me anyway, was kind of rocky. Still, the company I'm with now was willing to give me a chance.

Try Watkins Shepard or Scheinder or some of the other companies out there instead. JMHO
