T700 Idle Shut down

i have had it happen and boy does it suck we drove 70 miles in limp mode. heres what im going to do.done alot of research im getting a 06 ecm which is without the regen system. all dearlership goingto do ischanging out parts i was down for 5 days on a 08 cat c15 and this is our second trip in for acert. secondly there is a company u can get phone number from bulldog.com they can hook u up with a company who will take your comp out of your truck turn around time is i believe 2 days and they wipe out your computer and reprogram it its pricey 4,000. but we have to do something we are 1 truck owner and we cant afford to be down and have all these problems with the dam acert good luck

 

if it's a compnay truck then yes but you will get fired if they fine out. if is YOUR truck just go to the dealer and have it turned off....!

 

Limited idle can be a major problem. Kenworth can make a computer change that will allow you to idle the engine as long as necessary.

 

If this is your truck, I am assuming that you purchased it new from a dealer. I dont know why the engine wold shut down, if you set the idle. Did they change somethiing that sets a max idle time recently?
