Just want to do my year and move on.
I kinda figured they make a bunch of side money recruiting to be a trucker, when in doubt its a smart marketing tool to charge for CDL tuition.
Never the less, If I can get a CDL on credit, its better than the $5000 out of pocket from my local school.
"Bill me!"
Thank you. From the net, the trucks looked well maintained. And driving solo is a big + for me. Im kind of a neat freak.
"Please don't touch my stuff!"
Thank you.
Dui is 7 years old and exponged. After talking to a recruiter, thats not a problem according to company policy.
I will not lease.
I only plan to be there for my 1 year OTR experience.
I know I'm not going to get rich, or get the top cents/mile.
Im not going for the money, I'm going to build a resume.
My reading comprehension is just fine.
If you are trying to imply that I should listen to the rants and raves, and believe the ideology that has been grouped by rookies, then you sir have never met a leader. The cow that follows the heard is another lost soul, but the bull that leads the heard is empowered.
(You like that, I just made it up.)
Thank you.
No lease for me. -
Just endure with a good attitude and patience and you'll survive. The first year is tough anywhere anymore.
Get your year in and the school paid off and things will get better.
How old is the DUI? -
It's well maintained because YOU pay for it to be well maintained.

OMG lol stay away from CR England.... why don't you guys get that we are not disgruntled CRE drivers... we have heard, seen, witnessed.. If you all want to be stupid then yes go with CRE... I guess if that is your only option then have at it.... They are the biggest joke of the trucking industry... they were back in 2006 when I drove and obviously still are...

You'll only be driving solo if you lease, I promise. they'll say you can be a solo company driver, but they get solidly crapped on, and get no miles - they starve you into teaming or leasing. -

I strongly suggest that you realize that my wife and I weren't rookies when we signed on at CRE... so the negative input comes from experienced folks, as well. -
ronin is right... come on look at the big picture they want their trainees to drive for 30 days then as a 2nd seat for 60 days... omg screw all that .... think about that... that is teaming... and not only that, your not the only one on the truck.. I have heard that its always atleast 2 students with a trainer in the walk in closet.. uugggg I cant wait to drive but no thanks
-
lol and its not the reading comprehension... its the writing.... a heard of cows is spelled herd lol. just because the spell check didn't catch it on here.... but hey whats the use of proper grammar. That is not a requirement of CRE lol

Lets say, I agree to disagree. If I chose to pass on the opportunity, what other options would I have?
All the major companies expect to have no DUI's within the last 10 years.
Even if I could go to the local school, who's going to hire me after that.
Dirt trucks are super slow in my town, and the side loader beverage trucks just sucks! Did it before, never again.
No one here thinks one year of CRE is worth it?
