Coast to Coast (1980) with Robert Blake and a beautiful Diane Cannon.

That would be high-ballin with Jerry Reed, available instantly on netflix.

The above mentioned "Great smokey roadblock" threw me for a loop. Great cast with a young Robert Englund as a hitchiker who looks down on truckers but comes to change his way, and of course as mentioned the girls! Including a young Susan Sarandon, who also shared a producer credit. I picked it up a few years ago on one of those 3.99 racks at truckstop of movies that didn't get copyrights renewed or whatever.

I might get made fun of for this, but it just came out a year or so ago, it called trucker, it's kind of a B movie, but I like it

Black dog had Patrick Swayze in it "Crews" and Randy Travis. Not a bad movie, a little far fetched but I still catch myself ordering it On-Demand every now and then.

Highballin has everything great about 70's trucker movies. CB talk, independents getting hassled by big time shipper, truckstop parking lot brawl with tire irons, barroom brawl, truck chase involving pushing flaming cars off a car carrier, running illegal booze to save the farm, Pete COE, JERRY REED!. AND it's on instant streaming on Netflix too? Oh, did I forget to mention motel S-E-X? Haha, the 70's were cool!
Flatbed Annie and Sweetiepie w/ Annie Potts and lots of old trucks is cool too(also on Netflix instant). Wish I could find old Movin On and BJ and the Bear episodes for my boy. Dukes of Hazzard and Knight Rider always had trucks in them too.
