a little tech talk

I think it was IP who mentioned PDA net to me. Thank you! I plan on switching to verizion once I am solo but for $ reasons I stuck with metro PCS. I know in the north west I will not have a lot of luck but every where but east Cali on I10 I have been good. I bring this upbecause it has been a great tool. I have the breating maching and during the first two weeks you have to upload every other day. It only takes a minute. the first time we had to go a little out of route to find a TS with the equioment but my trainer was cool as he said it is part of what must get done. I did not like slowing him down. I tried to down load the software from the link on a sheet they gave but that would not work. So I called and they emailed me the link. Now I just pop it in and go.

Also a cool android app called radar now was a huge help. We were driving at night in Texas and saw lightning ahead. I was not driving so I downloaded the app. It pulls your GPS location and gives you the radar. Nice to see what is ahead. We dropped a few MPH to let the worst miss us and we were good to go.

What tech helps you out?

 

Also used pandora for a free sub for XM. I planned on not listening to the radio during instruction but when we planned the trip through texas and late he said i needed to be careful about getting bored and thus not alert. I said if he was cool with it a little music might help me stay alert. he agreed so we set pandora to my jimmy buffet (mutually agreed upon) channel and it was good.
