Is that Better Business Bureau or BigBadBill?
-
Maybe he is saying that bigbadbill needs to start the better business bureau for truckers lol.BigJohn54 Thanks this.

If that's for me I'm here. Been busy. Started pulling skateboards and my first trip was 4000 miles in 7-days. And since 400 miles was a long day in the past that just beat me up.
Also added a truck and jumping thru all the IRP/insurance/driver file hoops. But brought my wife on to help with that.
And if that isn't enough also starting brokerage business.
But taking a week off to get daughter settled into her dorm room in S. Utah and then 4-days in Vegas with the wifey.1catfish and bullhaulerswife Thank this. -
Sheesh, just wore me out reading all that.

BigBadBill Thanks this. -
Had this crazy idea that I was going to do a video blog on my adventures starting into flatbedding. That was gone the first night after securing my first load with a heat index of 115.
But wifey is on board and I hope a lot of the burden is removed.bullhaulerswife Thanks this. -
Yeah, I can imagine. 115 is literally "Your drenched before you've closed the door to the truck" heat!
Glad the wife is along. Hubby always loved having me with him too. Makes the long hauls much easier.
BigBadBill Thanks this. -
Oh, she is not with me. I think she has maybe 100-miles total in this truck. I am talking "on board" with the business. She has spent the day getting IRP paperwork in order, getting purchase documents signed for new truck, making sure we get everything that is needed from the new driver, IFTA, money transfered, etc.
And then she starts on learning dispatching software and getting all the details completed for brokerage business. She is going to be running that.
She says she is loving it but it has only been a couple days. -
That's cool, though! She's becoming part of a family business. LOL
I do all of hubby's stuff too, so I know there are going to be days she's pulling her hair out. We've debated bringing other trucks on board, but the hassle and all the extra things involved, not sure I'm up for that, because I have my own business too. It would quickly become full time, with more trucks and drivers.
BigBadBill Thanks this. -
I hope you like the heat! S. Utah has been known to get a little warm from time to time.
