    Ok based on the $2300 per month to the driver that equates to an average line haul of $8847.

    $8847 total line haul
    -$2300 Driver's pay
    -$2500 Truck payment

    $4047 Left for the rest of the bills.

    These numbers sound reasonable for a business. I'm not saying that the pay is great and maybe they are taking a larger portion then a company who signs on O/O. They are providing a truck with by the sounds of it a real possibility to pay it off.

    I know when I first read about Sammon's they sounded too good to be true but seems like quite a few are saying they do what they promise. I know the no negative paychecks sound like a lot better then the other true flease programs.

    Guys you are forgetting that they take 25% off the top so of that 18700 they keep 4675. The 74 and 26% adds up to 100% of 75% of the linehaul. I can believe that plates and insurance and maintenance plus trailer rental would eat up the rest of what's left.

    The load pays $2.00 (5-800miles)You get %75. Thats $1.75 to the truck n driver. 1.75-%23 to the driver. Whats left pays insurance fuel ifta ect. ect. then whatever left is to the truck. If all that left is $100 (dvr decided to take off 4-5 days) But next 3 weeks dvr busted his but and made 3000miles. What was left was for tk $2500-3000. This whole time load pay $2 (company get) .25=1.75-(dvr pay).23= tk stuff

    Wow,,,okay, all I know is they pay the drvr 26% and the rest goes to the truck. They claim this helps the drvr pay off truck quicker and drvr always gets a check...

    I wish I could hear from a Husband/Wife team that currently drives for them, would love to talk to them.

    For the record, 75% of 2.00 is 1.50 (2.00 * .25 = 0.50 and 2.00 - 0.50 is 1.50).

    But loads are paying more than $2.00 per mile. I would expect more like 2.40 (1.95 Revenue and 0.45 FSC) less 25% of 1.95 for 1.913 CPM (1.95 - 25% =1.463 + 0.45 = 1.913) to the truck and driver.

    The driver pay part is 26% so that would be 0.38 CPM Gross for the driver portion (1.463 * .26 = 0.38 ). By the time you pay Workmen's Comp, Health Ins, Social Security and Income Tax, you should have about 0.27 CPM Net.

    Just for the sake of accurate figurin'... 75% of $2.00 is $1.50, not $1.75.

    Sorry, didn't see Big John's post.

    I have a tax lein from losing a business in 2007... these guys won't take me... bummer - I've never been turned down for anything. I was really looking forward to this, relocating the RV to Missoula - I like Missoula, spent quite a bit of time there.. and my wife's family is 100 miles - JUST enough distance to keep them from riding over every other night for supper.

    I'm guessing they are afraid their equipment will get tied up by the IRS. While the IRS doesn't always come after you with a vengeance, they can literally seize everything you own and sell it at auction.
