has anyone been leased to cdn logstics?

Hi everyone... any updates on this company. They have a few rip off complaints ans I would like to know if they really give what they promise. 5 days working with them so far...

well, it looks like it too late now to stop you. if they are in the rip off report web site. that's not a good thing. that site requires the poster to submit name and address to post a report there.

 

Yeah. it's too bad I'm already in. I found out about the rip off after the I started working with them. Then I saw a o/o there having a hard time to collect 4 weeks of pay. And the worst part, I have to pay a $1000 penalty if a don't give a 30 days notice. So I guess I'll be stock there for a while.

 

That must me new. My buddy left them a few months ago and didn't have to pay. They ripped him off for his quarterly IFTA taxes though. But it wasn't $1,000.

 

I read the contract because I wasn't sure about the penalty. They don't call it penalty,they call it, liquidated damage, and is only waived in case of death or dissability...My first check was less than was it was suppose to be. I haven't seen the settlement yet to see what happened.Too bad I didn't check first on this company. The offer $1000 for sign up with them, and a lot of promises. I should've realized before, too good to be true.

 

Ive found that there's not an ounce of differnce between most companies... Some give a little more on per mile and less on the FSC... And some give a good FSC, but less on the mile...

If you can bring in a steady $1,500 a week, every week.. Then your doing good...

The real money is in having your own authority... That's when you start getting the $1.80 to $2.00 per mile freight..

Flat bed trucking , you can get it right away... I'm thinking seriously about going that way... Until I can get my own authority.

 

$1500 a week is good. There's a company in Florida, Twiss Transport, that you'll make that amount per week or more. If you go out sunday you'll be home by friday. But you can't live more than 50 miles away.

 

I've ran into that where I live.. I'm 80 miles from Dallas.. And about 50 from Tyler...

 

well your learning a good lesson! your not going to make anything until you get your own authority. trucking companies just like any business. are out to make and take money any way they can. and it not there responsibility to make you money. and that weather you are a company driver or ownwer op. that's your responsibility to make your own money. I'm not trying to be a butt hole. just being honest! and i'm sorry to hear that they are starting to suck. make the most of it. put any spare money you make in the bank. and get your own trailer and your own authority.
