Team Training?

    My husband and I are looking to get into team driving once he turns 21 in October (I'm 22), and we aren't sure if we'll be trained together or not. Does FFE train teams together, or would we be split up? I'm also wondering if I shouldn't try to go on to training now and get the experience in the meantime. I've been pretty impressed with what I've seen about FFE, and have been talking to a recruiter, but she wasn't really clear on what my best option would be.

    I don't think they will train both of you at the same time. I knew of a couple that went to CDL school one after the other and while he was in training, she was out on the road running southeast regional until he got out and trained with a company driver. All in all, she was in the truck away from him for about 12-14 weeks before they were team driving in their own truck.

    Never ever seen 3 bunks in a truck cab before the bad news is you'll have to train seperatly.
