Need feedback on Thermoking SB-400

    I have two lines of questions:

    1) What's your experience with this unit? Do you have any issues with this?


    2) How much would it cost to replace a S-391 screw compressor?

    I'm about to buy a this reefer, but the compressor needs to be replaced or repaired.

    no personal exp but a good friend had one and had alot of problems with it. there was a valve that was replaced many times ( 4-5) and 2 compressors in 6000 hrs.
    I'm thinking there is a good reason there are very few of these units around.

    If they still have the same screw compressor as was used in the Magnum units, the compressor costs about $4000.
