Yes you should ask for a new trainer, sometimes ppl just don't click, and by the sounds of it he's to much of and idiot for you to try and suck it up. So yea you should call and ask for someone else, tell them your problems and maybe he shouldent be a trainer anymore.

BigRo, I would suggest you send a PM to Foxfire and get his advice. PM me if ya want and I will try to help but Foxfire would be the one to talk to about this.

IMHO JBS will want to know every detail about how your trainer treats you and I expect they will fix his wagon!

Working for a company that is growing as fast as JBS is does create a few problems, IMHO we are hiring so many students we have had to have alot of new trainers to teach them and unfortunately JBS may not have much of a history on this guy to know if he is a good trainer or a POS!

Hang in there and seek the advice available from the senior drivers but DO NOT do anything that will ruin your career!

This guy sounds like the same loser lowlife caveman cretin (no offense to loser lowlife cretins) that I had at TMC years ago. He should not be training, period. I seriously doubt JBS would fire you for wanting to get trained properly by someone who knows how to train rather than having to deal with a moron like that. And if they did (which I'm sure they won't) fire you, it wouldn't be a company worth considering.

I learned NOTHING from my "trainer". It sounds like you have one of the same breed. The idea, the reason they put you with a trainer, was to learn. I guarantee you'll learn little to nothing if you stay with that pile of excrement. He'll get his, that is painfully apparent with the way he has no respect for HOS. I just hope he doesn't kill anyone in the process.

An update about my training. I finished up late last week with a road test and a truck. I got lucky (I think) and got a T-700. Took the load we had brought from Pennsylvania to Americold in Clearfield,Ut. Got a relay from a driver who was out of hours. The load was going to Merced, Santa Rosa and finishing in Sacramento,Ca. I then deadheaded the 150 mi home. Overall my training went well and I learned alot with so much more to learn. I felt ready to run on my own but I must admit I was scared sh*tless doing those runs. It feels good to be home after being gone since June 26th. On Fleet 18 and hope to run some miles to make up for the training pay. See ya out there.

    The Challenger Thanks this.

Glad to see you made it.. I was just switched to FLT 18 myself I was on the western regional didn't like it. To slow and low miles my brother has been with Q since she started he really likes her.. Now I'm going to unload in Fresno in the AM then head over to Watsonville and take it to someone in LA so I can go home and they can head to winterhaven,fl
