Hmm that's an interesting thought. I see different trucks parked in Walmart lots all the time, should just make it official. haha

If they were to come in, they'd just but out one of the big names, so I don't think it would make much difference. The fuel prices may be slightly lower, but other than that everything would be about the same.

I think they should get into the truckstop business. When they build a new store, they can create truckstop extension. The extension would have the regular services (phones, showers, arcade, truckstuff, etc). Then we could walk through to the regular part and do our food shopping at regular prices.
The only downside I see to this is if they try and enforce their "no idle" policy. -
What would be really cool is to get some 24 hour fitness centers or other fitness facility to open up next to the truck stops. Then you all would have clean showers and something healthy to pass your time with while on break.

you know i do not think they should that is just my thought.

seems like a good idea to me. most truck stops simply don't have enough low quality chinese crap for sale.
-
That will be a good idea to have a Walmart truck stop. Just think you can gas up and do a little shopping at the same time

I think they should stay out of the trucks stops and the truck stop business. They would no doubt run out those running the stops now. Thats how they play their game.

i think they should, it would drop prices on stuff and we would have a better selection.

I really dont know which way I would go. On one hand I hate that Wal-Mart uses its buying power to force all of it's compitetion out of business. Not just their direct competitors but in any area they decide they want control of this week. The way they are headed a monopoly is a real possibility for them in almost every market they are in.
On the other hand with a wife and 4 kids at home and limited to my income to support us, well we tend to spend a lot of time and all our money in there. My shopping habits dont support my belifes I know. So lower prices once I hit the road could be a real consideration for me just as it is now.
Now to further contradict my own habits lol. I recently was in the market for a new big screen. Due to Wal-Mart trying to control the market every retial store here HAD to drop their prices to have a chance. So with very little research I was able to find a better TV at or about the same price as what we saw at Wal-Mart. We bought from Best-Buy.
We also picked up a new washer and dryer and a new laptop. Lesson in that was NEVER EVER take my wife into a electronics store when we have "extra" money!!!!!
Did I get enough off topic yet? Anyway I still dont know if I like the idea or not
