I'm also wondering about this company, I live just a few miles from the terminal. Anyone?

I have spoken with 5 or their drivers in the past month and each of them claim to like it very much. They also did not ask for my name or offer me theirs, as if to collect a "finders fee" or referral bonus. They genuinely seemed to like it there. I also live very close to them and will be inquiring about a job there on my next trip home.
One driver in particular was very, very happy. He claimed to have been driving since 1978 and has been there for the better part of 3 years and he claims to "love it".
I can get used to driving an automatic transmission if things are that pleasant.
I will keep you posted with what I find.Deadhead-er, jvar4001 and hammerjammer1958 Thank this. -

I worked for big g for 3 years and loved it best company I've evee drove for. Highly recommend. Great equipment, real good money, home every weekend, friendly dispatch. Very rare in this buisness! I quit only because got a local job being home with family everyday.

My husband worked for the company and said the equipment and maintenance was excellent. They were horrible about sending you home on the weekends or those last minute Fri runs up the East Coast. Dispatchers hounded you when you were home begging you to take runs. Top notch equipment (scanners in the trucks) but did not want to pay what they owed you when you left the company (and didnt)
. They seem to have alot of empty trucks at 840 and are now advertising for drivers.
RickAnniston Thanks this. -
