You might try putting this in the "Seek Employment" section of the forum. You can include a phone number or email address there. You will have to do something because you won't be able to reply until you reach 7 posts.

In addition we would appreciate company name, pay rate, requirements and other useful information that would be helpful.

Is it possible to get a job with zero otr or tanker experience basically just having a new Cdl ? any love for ambitious young men out there ? I'd be willing to start low and build myself up

You don't need any experience to start with most water hauling companies. Alot of guys I work with just took the written tests to get thier permits and then rented a truck to take the driving test.

    BigJohn54 and Theguy24 Thank this.

Sorry for confusion Let me rephrase I don't have the Cdl yet,but plan to very soon 3 months max if all goes well

I'm going through driving school to get it. I'd like to try this over Otr if Possible

I'm sure these guys had people they knew to practice on their trucks right ?

I currently Live in Florida ,but would relocate in a second to get one of these jobs. It seems like the starting pay is around 14.50 per hr and you can easily get 70+ hours a week . and that includes time and a half after 40 hours right ?

Never worked for them. Out of Kennedale or Mansfield area. One guy on here was with them. Just water haulers like the rest. Easy money.

from what I understand most of those rental trucks were automatics so as long as you can back a trailer fairly well you should be able to pass the test.

Starting pay is getting better with most companies at 15/hr and up to 17/hr with experience. And 60 hrs a weeks being very average. If I were coming to Texas I would look in the Decatur Bridgeport Bowie area. They are getting crude oil out of the barnett shale up there and business is hopping.
