You can call and ask them about their local or regional if they still offer it, I started at .32., I guess its been raised to .35 god forbid they let anyone know what the hell is going on in the company I hear about all the changes ethier on here or from other drivers, in 2 months I've had 4 different fleet mangers with nobody telling me about it.

Just my opinion, but I feel like the suits want the entire trucking industry to be elogs in a couple years. I know a lot of drivers that work for different companies. Each company has a couple trucks with elogs as a "trial" purpose. Thats what I'm being told. The suits know that if they put elogs in every truck in the country, the country would come to a stand still. So they are slowly getting them in some trucks. Either by the company brown noseing, or the company has a terrible safty rating and they are being forced to put them in. We need to be ready for log book changes too people. I think Oct. we find out what if any, changes will come. I've heard "rumors" that the 11 will be changed to 10, the 34 will change to two consecutive 12:00 to 6:00 shifts to be valid, and only one reset a week, etc. So if the suits want all this so called safty regulation, then the way we get paid will have to change. Pay everybody by the hour. I've never used elogs, and really don't want to, but it is comming people. Unless we drivers grow a set and stand up for what is right, and we all know that won't happen. The middle class in this country is going away. You will either be rich, or standing on the corner with a cardboard sign. (How did I get on this topic?) Ya'll be safe and try to have some fun out there if ya can. We're all in this together.

My friends who went over to Oakley say are happy making $1,400 + checks like they used to at river.I see the safety man at It is laying the law down... all time spent at shipper/receiver will be on line 4. Man Fair Oaks Really sucks now, all those 300 mile runs and 2 1/2 days to do them Winchester Ky makes you sit all day. Oh well could be worse, but I don't see how.

A recruiter/dispatcher/Terminal manager etc will only lie to you when they are talking to you.
