K, mine did that too, with the exception of derating. Have them check the crank case filter, too. It's up on the driver side of the engine. All the code would show is high crank case pressure. I didn't know about that filter or it would have been changed at the 100K PM. Apparently, not many of the PM shops know about it either.
Fewe Thanks this. -
Well, another night without my girl. The dealer was putting everything back together today to then regen and test drive. Hopefully all will be good to go and I can get back to work in the morning.

Here is hoping for you!! At least we aren't the only ones to name our truck - we named ours Matilda (as in Waltzing Matilda)... since a Matilda is a traveling satchel with all of our belongings in it, and we are waltzing down the highways - LOL! We just won't jump in a lake after dinner is all

What are some of the medical things that cause potential new drivers to get dismissed?

Needle dependent diabetes, blood pressure 140/90 and higher, seizures/epilepsy, certain mental illnesses, certain heart problems.....
But if you have Tourette Syndrome, you'll fit right in. -

The old girl is fixed, for now, and we are rollin' again. Made it back to PA to deliver a Walmart load to a DC then to chase down a repower. The only problem is that, as per usual, the address where the trailer is was wrong in the computer as was the phone number and name of the company. The notes in the system had the correct phone number but I ran out of hours trying to find the errant address so I am posted up outside a WalMart for the night and will retrieve the trailer tomorrow afternoon and attempt a 2 stop Sam's Club delivery a day late. Should be fun since the appointment time was 8/18 22:00 and 8/19 02:00 and I will be arriving 8/19 18:00.
As for The PornStar, the shop said there was a problem of some kind near the turbo but wouldn't go into much detail. All I know is that she is back to her old self, including the Warn Engine light coming on for old time sake shortly after hooking to a 11,000 pound trailer. Guess we'll see what the future brings. I'm just glad to be spending the night in "my bed" instead of in that motel bed. With all the hubbub in the news recently about bed bugs in hotels I felt like things were crawling on me while falling asleep at night. Of course I never saw anything, but I did learn more than I ever wanted to know about the creepy critters thanks to my old chum Google.
Also, I may be spoiled but I don't remember the last time I turned on a TV and only had 34 channels to choose from. I watched a lot of Discovery Channel and History Channel, which I would have done even if I had my normal 4,000,000 channels I have at the house.scottied67 and Lady K Thank this. -
If that check engine light keeps coming on whenever the motor is under load, have the crankcase filter replaced. There's a sort of square box on the driver side, frony of the engine just under the head. It's painted the same color as the rest of the engine, so it's easy to tell if the bolts have ever been removed. If they haven't and you have over 200K on the engine, that filter needs to be replaced. It takes 5 minutes to do it.
Fewe Thanks this.
