I shown one method for adding a VIA point. Their are many ways.

Did you try to set your freeway setting to prefer major freeways?

Give me the start/stop locations of the other issues.

If a road is not in the map data base, let us know and we can verify if it is in Navteq maps or not. If not, we can submit to NavTeq to add.

You pay taxes anywhere. Rand does business in all 50 states so by law we must collect taxes.

Your unit would have to have been on for over year for you to get the message. If you bought early 2010, this would have not been possible as the TND did not come on the market till Aug 2009.

Any navigation unit to include cars always offers map updates. This is norm for navigation units. It is up to you if you wish to upgrade or not.

features are being looked at for the unloaded option.

Details of incorrect routing is always helpful. With details Rand can look at the issue.

    Thanks,
    mark

All, Rand will be again at the show with two booths. I will be at the booth inside that is next to the Moving America Truck and trailer (16112) and the demo booth is at 14107.

Myself and Sam will be available during show hours to do updates, discuss issues with your unit, routing or any other thing you have to pass along.

Rand will have TND's (510's and 710's) on hand to be purchased along with the new Maps and traffic receivers.

The New TND 760's will be demo'ed as well. This is an onboard EOBR.

Rumor has it that a discount will be offered during the show. No idea how much. :yes2557: As marketing quoted "An Amazing Price Discount"

Heading should say Aug 25-Aug 27th.

    Thanks,
    Mark

one thing about this tell rand feature on the unit- I don't hook up my unit to my notebook on the road- maybe my pc at home- but Id be in a lot of difficulty if my gps gets messed up if my notebook decides to crash. if rand has an email I can quickly send bug reports I wouldn t mind as hopefully it will help me get a better product in the end

this product sounds a bit scary...........Considering how well the TND product has performed.

Rand is looking at that. The way the software determines the route is called a router.. This is what they have to look at.

    Thanks,
    Mark

Really? I've been collecting performance data on this brand (and several others) for over 2 years now. I'd be interested in comparing yours against ours. Feel free to PM me your numbers and I'll add them to my charts.

    The Icon's or finding them?

Do you have main screen/preferences/truck/truck POI - turn on?

    Thanks,
    Mark

The people in the headquars office are killing. U called to return my unit with a broken power button that fell inside the unit rendering it useless. Plus the screen freezes and indicates it needs to run off or something. They tell me I have to pay for shipping the unit back to them but first have to fax a receipt. I tell them im not faxing it and they say ok but would be helpful. Theybsaid they would have a repaire person look and my unit and attempt to fix it to fix it and if that fails will send me a new one. Itold them my unit is junk and ivdont want it back. I told them the on off design is deal and the software sucks. The roads Roads are wrong often and the speed for a truck in CA is not and will probably never be 65 mph
