Just wanted to let everyone know that my hubby was bite by something in North Carolina and drove his load to denver coors and than to the denver yard were he met up with a nice lady who called a cab to the hospital he arrived on friday night and is still in the hospital as I write this. He hopes to get out tomarrow. 7 days is a long time to be off of work, the wheels are not moving not making money. Be Careful out there. Iam in Calif. so very hard to have your hubby in a hospital so far away. May trucking has taken real good care of us.:biggrin_25519:

Sorry to hear about your husband. I hope he gets well soon. If it had been a moccasin he wouldn't have made the trip to denver. They are deadly.

Did he by chance have his windows down while stopped? If he did, I would suggest investing in the breezeway screens they sell at the TA/Petro. I love being able to open the truck up but hated that the bugs kept getting in the truck. The screens fit inside the window tracks and you cankeep the breeze without the bugs.

Once I get settled in after I stop, I don't like to get out.

That is true. However, it does help keep me from going crazy hearing people argue politics in the truckstops.

7 days in the hospital , gets first load out of coors in denver and they overweight him by 300 pounds , goes back ask them to unload and they said park until they can find someone to take it, they r contracted with May for that weight . So he parked it and is waiting until everyone makes up there mind. So now 8 days with out pay, wow
