Mile, drivetime
Hourly, everything but drivetime -
Nice! So for the drivers, what is there usual time off (ex 1 off for every 7 on ect..)??
-
Off daily and home weekends. We have a few sleeper runs which leave out weds at 2am and get back saturday evening.
Starting out I have been running 5 days a week, but its not guaranteed. Some guys who start depending on the terminal may only get 2 or 3 days a week or less until they can get a bid run which can take years. -
anybody here from the Bethlehem pa terminal?
-
Whoa! Oh okay. Sounds good thugh (in a way). I see UPS & Fed Ex pushing everyday. Seems like you guys be doing 85mph lol...
-
The UPS Freight guys are governed at 65 mph, parcel is at least 68. Fedex Freight is also 65, but the contractors can run as fast as they want.

Paying a driver fairly for their work, what a concept!
-
do you need to be experienced to work there? anyone working in the northern ca area?
-
The pay depends on what division you get into and your experience. I got hired into the special services division which i pull flatbed for a dedicated customer. My starting pay is .40 cpm and 17.40 hr plus tarp and extra stop pay. As far as the company goes it seems pretty decent so far, but a lot of the same bs you get from any other company out there.
