    If I have a class

If I have a class B CDL with hazmat tanker and air brake from Missouri would I still be able to get hired with prime? Thinking about a career change I have been in the propane business for about 15 years but only driveing bobtails.

I'd bet even money you'd have to go through at least the full post-student training program. You might need the student phase depending on how you did on a drive test...

We run stuff up and down US63 all the time - plus I've run through Poplar Bluff on my way up from Jonesboro a few times. You're just a stones throw from I55 too... you're certainly not going to have a problem with loads going home - and perhaps overnight at the house on the way through as well.

If you want to go solo and stay a co. driver for a year or two would that be ok are will they push to go lease ? I am trying to get some things tied up here at home then apply. I would like to thank you all for your post it helps a lot.God bless you all and keep the shinny side up..

Not a problem. I ran a solo company truck for three years, and never heard one word about leasing. Lease and company drivers perform different functions within Prime, and they need both kinds to make the operation work.

Once all training is over what kind of miles can a solo company driver get in a week? Also what or the different functions in the company? does the company trucks have apu? thank you all for your time and post.

Ive spoken to drivers getting 3500-4200 miles a week, your results may vary. If you prove yourself, youll get better miles. Your consistantly late unprofesional, and you wont. Not sure what you mean about the functions... The condo sleeper trucks have APUs on them, solo trucks do not.
