Just let your FM know and I'll be by. Good lord, this is getting ridiculous. I must be the king of rescuing drivers that are out of hours. I wonder what the record is? I guess it doesn't really matter. As long as I get 3000 miles a week, it doesn't matter how I get them. Interesting that I have never been rescued. I must be doing something wrong. Or my trip planning may be too good. Or maybe if I run out of hours I just keep driving.

Anyway, Houston to San Antonio for the guy last night and then I run into him today in Waco picking up a load at Mars. So I asked him if they were keeping him pretty busy, which I assumed they were, if he needed to be rescued. The guy says he has averaged 1600-1700 miles a week for the last 6 months. Wow. I can tell you right now, if thats all the miles I was getting, I wouldn't be giving any away to anyone else regardless of what my hour situation was.

In any case, if you run out of hours somewhere, call your FM and they'll send me in to get the job done.

Sometimes a load has to be picked up, whether you can make it or not.

I have been rescued more times than I can count... Never by any negligence of time management. Most of them are shipper problems, however there are quite a few that I told my FM that I could not do, and he messages back do what you can and I will either reschedule or repower but this load has to bee picked up.

U2 I have had a few of those as well, turn it down not going to have enough time then being asked to grab it for a repower or reschedule if needed. I think when my sons were on the truck we had 3 repowers in a week NONE were my fault.
