Graduation was this past Friday morning. By Friday afternoon, I had three job offers and had chosen one by 5pm. I start work Monday morning. I'd say going to the NC Truck Driver Training School was a good choice.

The school at JCC was great but a little tough. I graduated about 3 years ago and stop by when I get a chance to talk to some of the instructors.

yeah I went to DCCC and it's the same program.......tough for sure, but WELL worth the effort and the cost can't be beat.

And I got on at a really good company even before I had graduated. While the usual bottom feeders showed up to recruit as expected, they were the minority......most of the recruiters were from smaller and more local companies and the jobs being offered were on a much higher caliber than what these $3-4,000 'schools' seem to be placing people in

I just wish all the schools were like the state-sponsored programs in NC......there would certainly be alot better drivers out there, that's for sure.

Does anybody know if JCC is successful at placing people wth felony convictions. I am presently qualified to drive for PAM through Driver Solutions, but have not set a date after reading about them and FTA and am thinking about sending myselt through JCC.

I will be starting class next Monday, 29th. Looks like this may be a small class. A little over 20 people. They usually have around 40. Which is cool, more time behind the wheel I hope.

Not a problem, I need to swing by there one day either heading out or coming home and see if they have any new or old local companies looking for drivers.
