All depends on what type of work your doing if its just droop and hook or alot of dock work my choice would be a Freightline Century class great for reversing onto docks unlike those huge 379' petes and KW's
-
I wouldnt own a plastic truck.
I drive W9's because they are what I like.
I will be pulling a step deck flat bed. -
I'd get the '03 6NZ......
-
I'd look for a 72in studio sleeper Mr Beast. However, my choice would be the 6NZ 10spd one out of the three.

The 6NZ 10 speed seems to be the best option, the down side is I can see some corrosion on the radiator and on the air to air, that has me a bit worried.
Also if I got it id throw a 18 speed in it, which isn't hard, just takes money.
Mama really wants me to get the studio sleeper because she would like more room, so the jury is still out. I cant say it would hurt my feelings to have a 600 cat, but might mean I have to buy an aluminum trailer right away to keep the weight down. The Challenger Thanks this. -
600 CAT with a 18 speed and 86 inch studio sleeper is nice combo
-
I am nothing but a freightshaker lover, yet if a freind was asking me which of the three I would say the 00.
-
I'd go with the 00. especiall if i has fewer miles than the 03 and is already an 18 gear. I personall love the power of the 600's. and the ones we have get as good or better mileage as the 550's. all nice trucks though. the 03 and 00 will probly hold value beter due to motors. just my .02 though
what is the wieght differance in them? look to be very close.Last edited: Aug 22, 2011

I actually found another truck today that if it pans out I am going to buy it.
It is a 00, has the 6NZ 18 speed, and 620K on the clock!

Its a former bed bugger truck so it should be in pretty good shape.
