I was almost on empty.....after they reloaded we were sitting just perfect with right around 30000 on the drives and tandems.

We had a PP to pick up a load at another rail yard at 1500......only problem is it won't be here until 0730 tomorrow morning?????............so we are back at Markham for the night....LOL

If any driver has to deliver in Washington,DC. Make sure you get a 53ft trailer permit from permits or safety. It's a $250.00 ticket.

Drivers, in PA you have to drive in left lane when going thru construction zones, its a $500 fine. Lol no I didn't get a ticket, just a warning.

I was going to ask, and still asking, "Who is responsible for the permit for a 53 foot trailer?? How would you know of there and any other places that you would need any special permits??

    Thank you

Bottom line ,.we as drivers are responsible for " the knowing" ,lol. Usually the shipper is suppose to have it under "order comments". If you are not sure before entering a major city always call permits. I use Google, then call permits. Hope this helps.

    Tomegg Thanks this.
