OK well i'm heading to Harrisburg PA on 8/28 for orientation,I been on Youtube and I came across of people stating they when to a Swift orientation and spend either 1 hold day or the hold 3 days just to learn that they where disqualified for employment.
So my question is this,is this a comment issue with them? One video I watch was a guy who had 2 speeding tickets and the recruiter told him it wasn't an issue. He sat 3 full days in orientation to only get disqualified for employment.
Then there was a another guy who sat 2 days I believe he said and was disqualified due gaps or something with his work history.
Now i'm concern cause I do have a speeding ticket from 09 and non moving ticket from 09 also,Also my work history from the last 3 years does have some gaps also.I know recruiters says one thing and then H.R people says another.
Any one have ever had an issue like this or heard or knew someone who did?

Not looking for general info,i'm looking info about how many people when to oreintation and wasted 1-3 days for nothing just get told they are disqualified. -
You're worrying too much. You will soon be too busy driving to have any time to waste on utube.
My son went through Harrisberg and was out with his trainer on day #4.
Why are you going to Harrisberg when you're from Florida? -
Your right,i'm worry cuz I can't get in any other company due to lack of employment last 3 years and I attend trucking school 3 years ago and most companies wanted me to attend a refresher program,ok no problem but I have no money for that.So Swift was the only company that say that will take me,well Werner to but I attended werner in 07 and it was a nightmare!
Swift was always my first chose cuz of the Harrisburg terminal which is 60 miles from my home town in PA. -
Don't lie, put all info up front. If you have tickets, but they are about to fall off let them know this.

The thing is the recruiters know everything, but they don't matter. Its the guys in the office who need to know.

Swift does not fully check your background until you are at orientation. As has been said, recruiters are not the ones making the decision. The decision will be made by the office staff, and will be made while you are at orientation. I believe this is standard in the trucking industry. I know that at any company, you are not hired until orientation is complete. Sure it's not much fun, I won't deny that, but I don't know what you could do about it.

Swift goes back 5 years on your MVR. More for DUI's.
Any gaps in your employment need to be covered now with sworn notarized statements from people that aren't your relatives. It is a homeland security thing.
Lie on you application? You are screwed. Lie on your application? Thing may ding your DAC. Then, Pizza Hut is hiring........
