That dude standing by the truck looks like he's just waiting for the fuzz to slap the cuffs on him.

I hope no one passes judgment too quickly. At first it might seem like a slam-dunk case against the mail truck - speeding and/or distracted/drowsy driving. But how many of us have seen the occasional 4-wheeler hauling a (usually home-built) trailer with malfunctioning (or even NO) taillights, or bouncing/swaying up, down, and side-to-side so badly that you knew this thing was going to fly off the hitch? In my short time on the road so far I've already seen this several times and, in each case, I've often wondered how long it would take for some catastrophic accident to take place as a result. Since I wasn't there I'm not going to judge - I guess that's why they have traffic investigators.

Of course incidents like this help remind me to be a little more diligent when doing my pre-trips; I wouldn't want to be on the receiving end of a rear-end collision because some unfortunate driver couldn't see my non-working lights.

At least once a week, i see 4 wheelers pulling trailers, homemade/ or factory built,, and no tail lights no 4 ways flashers, and the next thing you know, you'r on thier tail, cause they have slowed down with out using thier brakes.
I agee, let the courts do the judging
