The office staff at knight need to just do their own jobs and let us do ours without cracking that whip! They have no real life experiance cause they're sheltered! Maybe they need to go back to school and get a refund. While I drive down the road at 63mph with 80,000 lbs behind me fool ! Jammin on some nice riffage from the bay area bangers!

Savage is glam? Seriously? And I'm supposed to take you seriously when you say crap like this?
Metallica wasn't the first, hate to break it to you. Venom beat them to the punch there. Even Venom didn't come up with the idea on their own. The development of Thrash is pretty much owed the existence of Hardcore Punk - namely, Discharge.
That's right. How do you think Slayer (who started off as Judas Priest clones), Venom (who started off just playing a basic raw, heavy rock), Metallica (NWoBHM spinoffs), Razor (who started off as Motorhead clones), etc. went from what they were in their demo material to what they were by the time they released their debut albums? With a little touch of Discharge, GBH, Bad Brains, etc. Each of these bands has paid homage to it in their own way. Cronos of Venom has directly admitted the connection. Metallica (and several others) do it through their Discharge covers. Slayer released a whole album of Hardcore covers (Undisputed Attitude), paying homage to the bands who influenced them to break away from what they played when they released their early demos.
Have you ever listened to any of the bands mentioned, or are you really so ignorant as to believe the crap you're spewing about "Glam"? I'm sorry, but if you listen to Loose N' Lethal and believe it parallels Scorpions, you're beyond hope. Not to mention you really haven't paid much mind to what the members of Metallica themselves have said on this matter (even if they fall short of actually admitted they borrowed directly from those bands).
And it's quite laughable that you carry on about the Bay Area, Thrash, and Death Metal and yet it still never occurs to you to mention Possessed, who are pretty much the cornerstone of American Death Metal.
You've got a lot to learn before you go lecturing me about Metal. -

by the time i get 2 a shop its probaly almost time for them 2 close, or dm'll dispatch me on another load, & i already know i wont be able 2 get my truck in that next shop if i stop by 1.....
-
I see your point. I'never had any issue with anybody at the shop at any knight terminal. Those guys are very cool. -
Hi, Injun. Have you paid off the lease on the Swift truck yet? If so, leasing it back on with Knight would probably be a step up. That's my honest opinion, based on our experiences (hubby and me). I don't want to argue, fight, or one-up anybody, and I'm not a recruiter, I'm just saying that because it might be useful to you.
