I suspect Lisa is an employee of the school, not a student.

Pat, the WIA funds were exhausted. Workforce kept telling me to try back every week and hope they'd come up with more money. But the fiscal year begins in Oct, so don't expect anything until then.

I did check with PJC, it's a new program at the Paris campus. It's not available for Pell or anything like that since it's an "outsourced" program in the "Continuing Ed" department. But I never thought to ask WHO operates it. I don't think it's Sage because the website doesn't seem very specific about who they are, nor have they updated it in a while. They still don't have PJC listed as a training site. But that just a guess.

It came down to money. PJC is twice as much as Continental. I eyeballed the PTDI schools and all, but it came down to money and distance from home. I figured, "I'm getting a CDL. Why spend $4,500 for it when I could spend $2,700 and get the SAME CDL?"

    Patt52 Thanks this.

Sounds that way. I have nothing bad to say about the folks in the office. They all seem very friendly and helpful. And Ray, the class teacher is a great guy as well.

I nailed my CDL today. I can say thanks to Continental. If you've been reading my blog, you can make your own call as to what that's worth. If anyone reading this now HASN'T seen my blog, go check it now for more detail on MY experience at Continental. It's one guy's experience in Aug of 2011.
